Dajin Heavy Industry has been awarded the Supplier Engagement Leader (A rating) in the latest Supplier Engagement Assessment (SEA) released by CDP, the world’s leading environmental disclosure platform.
With this achievement, Dajin becomes the first and currently the only offshore wind foundation manufacturer globally to receive the CDP SEA A rating, the highest level of recognition for supply chain climate governance.
The CDP SEA evaluates corporate performance in Scope 3 emissions management, supplier engagement, supply chain decarbonization targets, and sustainable procurement practices. Achieving an A rating signifies that Dajin has established a mature, systematic, and transparent low-carbon supply chain management framework aligned with international climate standards.
In recent years, Dajin has embedded sustainability into its core business strategy by:
• Strengthening decarbonization collaboration with key steel suppliers
• Establishing structured carbon data management systems
• Integrating carbon metrics into procurement and tender processes
• Promoting supplier disclosure and emissions reduction target setting
As the offshore wind sector accelerates toward net-zero, European developers increasingly require robust Scope 3 management and supply chain transparency. The CDP SEA Leadership rating further enhances Dajin’s ESG competitiveness in international markets and reinforces its position in high-end offshore wind tenders.
Amid evolving regulatory frameworks such as CBAM and tightening climate compliance requirements, supply chain carbon transparency is becoming a decisive competitive advantage. This recognition establishes Dajin’s early-mover leadership and strengthens its institutionalized low-carbon capabilities across global operations.
As a global leader in offshore wind foundations, Dajin will continue advancing supply chain decarbonization, scaling up low-carbon emission material applications, and supporting the sustainable growth of the offshore wind industry worldwide.
