Strengthening Global Collaboration in Offshore Wind | Visit of Scottish Enterprise & SDI to Dajin Beijing HQ

On May 19, Dajin Heavy Industry was honored to welcome a distinguished delegations from Scottish Enterprise & Scottish Development International to visit our Beijing headquarters, including:

· Susanne Sosna, Director of Energy Transition, Scottish Enterprise

·Stefan Bengtsson, Director of Investment, SDI Asia Pacific

·Lily Zhao, Head of Inward Investment Mailand China, SDI China

The delegations was warmly received by Peter Li, Senior Vice President of Dajin.

During the meeting, both sides exchanged views on:

·Dajin’s current business landscape in China and overseas

·Opportunities and challenges in expanding into the European market

·Perspectives on the energy transition in Europe and what it means for Chinese enterprises

·The outlook for Scotland’s energy transition and offshore wind industry

Ms. Susanne Sosna shared valuable insights into renewable energy collaboration and highlighted Scotland’s investment opportunities in offshore wind. She also expressed strong interest in exploring future project cooperation with Dajin in Scotland’s offshore wind sector.

Scotland is rich in offshore wind resources is also one of Dajin’s key strategic markets. Moray West is one of the largest offshore wind projects in Scotland and marks Dajin’s first European offshore project delivered. 

Looking ahead, Dajin will take this dialogue as a key opportunity to deepen collaboration and actively contribute more to energy transition and the innovative development of offshore wind technology in Scotland.
