On February 26th, the final 10 monopiles for RWE’s Thor offshore wind project were safely stored at Eemshaven port, marking the successful delivery of all 36 TP-less monopiles.

The successful delivery of the Thor project monopiles represents a significant milestone for us, as it is not only our first TP-less monopile project but also the first where we took full responsibility for transportation. From the first steel cutting in January 2024 to the final delivery, the project spanned over a year of collaboration and dedicated effort. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our client, RWE, for their trust and partnership, as well as to our teams for their relentless commitment, which were pivotal in achieving this success.

With the completion of the Thor monopile project, we have now delivered a total of 145 monopiles to European markets across three major projects: 48 for the UK’s Moray West project, 61 for France’s Îles d’Yeu et de Noirmoutier project, and 36 for Denmark’s Thor project. This achievement underscores our manufacturing capabilities, operational excellence, and ability to deliver complex projects. It further solidifies our position as a trusted and reliable partner in the offshore wind industry, reinforcing our commitment to advancing sustainable energy solutions globally.
